Lynred Pico640S+ uncooled LWIR sensor

LWIR imaging captures thermal radiation emitted by objects, revealing temperature differences and enabling passive vision in complete darkness without external illumination. At Kit Optics, we develop uncooled LWIR thermal cores for demanding computer vision and AI applications in defense, industry, and civilian systems. Our development spans multiple sensor formats and pixel pitches, including HD resolutions and 8 μm detectors.

WHO WE ARE

Thermal imaging, shaped by field experience

Founded in Ukraine in 2023, Kit Optics develops thermal imaging technology informed by direct work with defense users and system integrators.

Our story began with our teams volunteer work supporting Ukraine’s defense forces with thermal imaging equipment in 2022. After establishing Kit Optics in 2023, we built the business around supplying, adapting, and servicing thermal imaging systems. That experience informed the development of our own thermal core: R&D began in 2024, followed by the launch of KitEye640 in 2025.
Today, our team brings together expertise in optics, electronics, embedded systems, and image processing to develop thermal cores and integrated imaging solutions.

PEOPLE AND PARTNERS

A product is only as strong as the people behind it

Behind every Kit Optics product are the people who design it, the partners who contribute their expertise and technologies, and the team that supports its integration and use. That collaboration shapes how we build, improve, and support our technology.

01

The suppliers whose technology and expertise help us build better products.

02

The integrators who bring our thermal cores into real-world systems.

03

The clusters and programs that support our growth and connect us with partners across allied markets.
